Alan Langford is a British artist who works as a freelance illustrator. He is a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and is based in the New Forest and Dartmoor in Devon[1].

His art career started in 1979. working on history books, encyclopaedias, comics, book covers and fantasy game books[1].

He also has worked as an art tutor in adult education, including demonstrating drawing and painting techniques to amateur art societies and the W.I.[1].
