Chief Judge Jürgen Griffin was principal of the Academy of Law and latterly Chief Judge of Mega-City One, from 2101 to 2104.

He was not initially given a first name, but when Ben Willsher created a design for 100 cred notes for a Lenny Zero cover the artist decided that he needed to give Griffin a first name. He chose that of the actor who had played him in the 1995 film, Jürgen Prochnow[1].
