Dan Abnett is a British comic writer and novelist. He often works with Andy Lanning, a writing partnership known as 'DnA' to their fans[1]. He occasionally writes with his wife, Nik Vincent[2] His Games Workshop books have sold more than 1,150,000 copies.
Abnett and Lanning signed an exclusive deal with Marvel in June 2008, with provisions for "a couple of exceptions that are not direct competition, for example, Dan's 2000AD work in the UK and his Games Workshop novels."[3]
