Emma Beeby is a comic writer who has collaborated with Gordon Rennie on a number of stories in 2000AD.

She had read a few copies of 2000AD but it was only after she played the Dredd Vs Death computer game that she got a pile of Dredd graphic novels to read. She entered comics after an artist suggested she right a manga-style comic with Rennie, though it has not yet seen print[1].

Beeby was the first female writer to write a published Judge Dredd script[2][3] and to write on Judge Anderson[4].
