Dredd starts to bring the law to Luna-1. He sorts out some rowdy ranch-hands in a local bar, then faces off against a robotic gunslinger in the street.
Synopsis[]
Judge Tex shows Dredd round Luna-1. Dredd is unimpressed by the apparent lawlessness on show. He sees some local ranch-hands brandishing illegal firearms and follows them into a bar. He destroys the illegal alcohol and then shoots the controls off their gravity boots when the men come after him. He heads outside where a robo-slinger is calling him out for a gunfight. Tex refuses to help, so Dredd faces it on his own, and out-draws it. The robot fires a dart at him, but Dredd realises it must be homing in on his badge and throws it in the air for the dart to hit it. He accusses Tex of being complicit, but Tex points out that both the robot and the badge were manufactured by the same company - Moonie Fabrications.[2]
