Tharg's Future-Shocks is a long-running series of short stories. Their format has varied, with the majority running in 2000AD and consisting of one-off, self-contained stories, with non-returning characters. Their are exceptions however, with some stories spanning more than one prog, appearing in other publications or featuring characters which returned.

The first Future Shock was written by Steve Moore and appeared in Prog 25.

Many Tharg's Future-Shocks are "self-contained, four-page science-fiction short stories with a twist ending"[1].
