The Judge's Graveyard was a Judge Dredd story featured in the 2000AD Summer Special 1977.

Synopsis[]

At the start of the story, Dredd is in hospital recovering from the effects of a terrorist bomb blast. Before he can return to the streets he is sent to the Judge Assessment Centre for re-assessment. The centre is run by Mr Dimitrov who had lost his right arm five years earlier in an accident when he had been hit by one of Dredd's heatseeker bullets. Dimitrov is after revenge and tries to rig the assessment so Dredd has no chance of success, but Dredd succeeds anyway. At the end, Dimitrov tries to shoot Dredd with some sort of dart hidden in his false arm, but Dredd rumbles him and Dimitrov ends up shooting himself[1].
