Savage finds himself looking after Prince John, the heir to the British throne, after he becomes stranded in Scotland and on the run from the Volgans,
Synopsis[]
Part One[]
Savage is supervising a supply drop from Canada via submarine, when he discovers Prince John stowing away on board. The sub is attacked and holed by a Volgan patrol jet, and the Prince has to abandon ship. They shoot the plane down but not before the pilot recognises the prince. Savage rescues the prince from the water, but the Volgans recover the black box from the fighter jet and realise that the Prince must be somewhere ashore.[1]
Part Two[]
Savage and Silk take the Prince back to their Highland hideout. They try to keep his identity a secret, but a sentry, Gypsy Jake, recognises him and tips off the Volgans in exchange for a pay-off. The Volgs send in troops via helicpter but Savage and his men kill the troops and bring down the chopper. Prince John finds the traitor is the wreckage and is about to pardon him when Savage shoots the turncoat and reveals a knife in his hand.[2]
Part Three[]
Savage, Silk and the Prince are in Dundee looking for somewhere to rest and eat. They try a B&B run by a couploe of elderly ladies. They recognise the Prince and let them in, but when some Volgans come in, they accidentally let slip Prince John's identity. One of the Volga rings HQ to let them know, whilst the other two guard the men. The ladies attack the guards and Savage takes out the one on the phone, but not before he gives away their location and the word 'ladies'. As they leave they see the women being captured and taken away for questioning. They disguise themselves as old women to get close enough to a checkpoint to attack it, thus taking suspicion away from the owners of the guest house.[3]
Part Four[]
The Royal Navy send a destroyer to the Scottish coast to pick up the Prince, but they are spotted by a high altitude spy-plane which fires a missile at them. The ship is sunk, but not before they can fire their own missile back and bring down the plane. The crew ejects but Savage is waiting in the water below and shoots them all as they parachute down.[4]
Part Five[]
The three men find themselves in the grounds of Balmoral, a place the Prince knows well, but the castle is being used by Volgans. A collaborator is acting as a tracker for a deer hunting party and picks up the tracks of the fugitives. Savage is out of ammo but the Prince leads them to secret cave behind a waterfall where there are some old shotgun shells and animal bones. Savage uses a blank cartridge to fire some antlers at the collaborator then grabs his guns to shoot the Vogs with.[5]
Part Six[]
Savage, Silk and the Prince make it to a city where a travelling circus is in town. They make for a safe house, but it has been compromised and they narrowly escape a trap by leaping from a window. They try hiding out in the circus crowd but they are recognised and flee through the sideshow tents, but the Prince is too exhausted to go on. There they are assisted by the bearded lady who turns out to be Bill's old friend, Big Nessie McNairn. She offers them food and shelter in her caravan.[6]
Part Seven[]
Still hiding out at the circus, the Volgans are closing in. Nessie offers to hide the Prince whilst he recovers so Savage and Silk escape. Nessie poses as a fortune-teller with the prince hidden under her table. Some Volgans enter her tent and she tells their fortune, but they spot the Prince's hand under the table. Just then, Savage bursts in and guns them all down while Silk creates a distraction outside to cover the noise.[7]
Part Eight[]
Savage, Silk & Prince John are preparing to leave the circus with Nessie, but the circus owner spots them and betrays them to the Volgans. When the Volgans close in on their position, Bill gets the others to hide while he leads the attackers away and into the empty big top. She shoots at them from the trapeze, but the circus owner uses his whip to bring him down. Just then, Nessie and the others come bursting through the side of the tent in a truck and gun down the Volgs. They kill the circus owner and escape by smashing away the support poles, bringing the tent down on the remaining soldiers.[8]
